1) Acceptance of these Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using CalMint (“the App”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2) The Service

CalMint helps you track calories and macronutrients and build healthier habits. Some features may optionally use AI to generate meal ideas, summaries, or insights based on information you provide.

3) Not medical advice

The App is provided for informational and educational purposes only and does not provide medical, nutritional, or other professional advice.

Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making changes related to diet, exercise, or health.

4) Your responsibilities

• Accuracy: You are responsible for the accuracy of information you enter.
• Appropriate use: You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not harm others or the service.
• Account security: If you create an account, you are responsible for safeguarding your credentials.

5) AI features

If you enable AI features, the App may process certain inputs you provide (for example meal logs, preferences, and optional notes) to generate outputs.

• You can use the App without enabling AI features.
• AI outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete and should be reviewed before acting on them.
• You are responsible for decisions you make based on AI outputs.

6) Subscriptions and payments

Some features may require a paid subscription or in-app purchase. If applicable, purchases are processed through the App Store and subject to Apple’s terms and policies.

You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings. Refunds (if any) are handled by Apple according to their policies.

7) Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, modify, or attempt to extract source code.
• Use the App to violate any law or regulation.
• Interfere with or disrupt the App’s security or performance.
• Attempt unauthorized access to systems or data.

8) Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the App (in whole or in part) at any time, including to maintain, improve, or comply with legal requirements.

9) Privacy

10) Disclaimers

The App is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fully accurate at all times.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CalMint and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data or profits, arising from or related to your use of the App.

12) Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the App if you violate these Terms or if required by law. You may stop using the App at any time.

13) Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make changes, we will update the effective date on this page. Continued use of the App after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
